Improved

A calmer, quicker chat page

A round of polish on the chat page and widget: messages land where you can read them, phones get a composer at the bottom edge, and the sidebar tells you which chats are replying.

What shipped

  • A sent message glides to the top of the view and the reply writes itself in below it, on the chat page and in the widget.
  • On phones the composer docks at the bottom edge, and a new chat opens with the greeting and starters centred above it.
  • A resizable sidebar on desktop; long chat titles slide to show their end on hover, and shimmer while their reply is being written.
  • Sidebar dots: pulsing while a chat is replying, green for a reply you have not seen. Switch to another chat and back, and "Thinking…" is still there until the reply lands.
  • Read aloud starts in about a second instead of waiting for the whole reply, and replays instantly.
  • A shorter disclaimer that fits in two lines, and a header that shows the agent's logo and name once the conversation has started.
