Connect SuperCognit to Perplexity

Perplexity's apps that support MCP connectors can talk to remote servers. Add your SuperCognit workspace and Perplexity can list and edit your agents, update knowledge bases, read conversations and leads and combine that with its research — for instance checking a competitor's pricing and updating your sales agent's knowledge in one go.

Connection details

https://mcp.supercognit.com/platform/<workspace>/mcp

Replace <workspace> with the workspace slug shown under Integrations → Platform MCP, and <api-key> with a workspace API key when your client does not sign in with OAuth. Published MCP servers connect the same way at their own URL.

What you can do once it's connected

Research into knowledge

Research a topic with Perplexity, then push the summary into a knowledge base as a document source.

Questions over your inbox

What did customers ask this week? Which leads came from which channel? Answered from your workspace data.

Agent upkeep

Update instructions, languages or tools on an agent from a chat.

Your published server in Perplexity

The MCP servers you publish on SuperCognit connect the same way, with email-link sign-in for your customers.

How to connect

01

1. Copy your workspace MCP URL

Integrations → Platform MCP in the dashboard. One URL per workspace.

02

2. Add a connector

In Perplexity's settings open Connectors and add an MCP connector with the URL. Availability depends on the app and plan — check Perplexity's connector settings.

03

3. Authenticate

If the connector supports OAuth, sign in with your SuperCognit account; otherwise paste a workspace API key as the x-api-key header.

04

4. Ask

Enable the connector in a thread and ask it to list your agents to confirm the connection.

Frequently asked questions

MCP connectors are offered in Perplexity's desktop apps and agent products; the web app's support varies by plan. The SuperCognit side works with any MCP client.

With a read-write key or an owner/admin OAuth sign-in, yes, with confirmation on destructive actions. Use a read-only key if you only want questions answered.

Only what you explicitly add to a knowledge base. Chat content stays in Perplexity.

No fee for the connection. Managing the workspace over MCP is free like the dashboard; conversations your agents have with customers are metered as usual.
