Connect SuperCognit to Claude Cowork
Claude Cowork runs multi-step tasks on your desktop with access to your files and the connectors you enable. Connect your SuperCognit workspace and Cowork can turn a folder of product sheets into a knowledge base, draft an agent, review last week's conversations and leave you a summary — using the same MCP connection Claude uses in chat.
Connection details
https://mcp.supercognit.com/platform/<workspace>/mcpReplace <workspace> with the workspace slug shown under Integrations → Platform MCP, and <api-key> with a workspace API key when your client does not sign in with OAuth. Published MCP servers connect the same way at their own URL.
What you can do once it's connected
From a folder to a knowledge base
Point Cowork at a folder of PDFs and policies, ask it to build a knowledge base in SuperCognit and attach it to your support agent. It creates the base, adds the sources and reports what was indexed.
Weekly inbox report
Cowork reads the week's conversations and leads, groups them by topic and writes you a document with what customers asked and where the agent needed help.
Prepare a demo agent for a prospect
Hand Cowork the prospect's website and brief; it imports the site, drafts the agent with the right languages and tone and leaves it unpublished for your review.
Keep agents consistent
Ask Cowork to compare the instructions of all your agents and align tone, escalation rules and disclaimers — applying the edits over MCP.
How to connect
1. Copy your workspace MCP URL
Integrations → Platform MCP in the dashboard. One URL per workspace.
2. Add the connector in the Claude desktop app
Cowork uses the connectors configured in Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the URL and sign in with your SuperCognit account.
3. Enable it for the task
When you start a Cowork task, enable the SuperCognit connector alongside the folders you give it access to.
4. Review before publishing
Cowork can create and edit, but agents stay drafts until you publish them — so every task ends with something you check in the dashboard.
Frequently asked questions
Same connector, same permissions. Cowork simply runs longer, multi-step tasks and can combine your local files with the workspace — for example turning documents into a knowledge base.
It can change a product's status if your role allows it, and it will ask first. Many teams prefer to leave publishing as the one manual step.
Only your workspace's data through the tools you approve: agents, knowledge bases, tools, conversations, contacts, leads and analytics. Nothing is shared with other workspaces.
SuperCognit's own agent answers questions about the platform and MCP setup; for Cowork itself, see Anthropic's documentation.
